Ajuga turkestanica is a traditionally used perennial herb, growing mainly in Central Asia.
The key actives include the phyto-ecdysteroids turkesterone and 20-hydroxyecdysone (20HE) with anabolic properties.
Traditionally, Ajuga has been used as a generic, but specifically to treat heart diseases, muscle and stomach aches. It is taken as a diuretic, and for inflammatory diseases and infections.
