Several years ago, we set out on a mission to find an all-natural mental and physical energy ingredient that could be used as an alternative to caffeine.
Amongst others, we discovered the potential of the leaf of Mangifera indica (or mango tree).
From this well-established plant source – rich in mangiferin and other bioactives – we developed a proprietary standardised extract, trademarked as Zynamite®.
After its launch in 2018, today Zynamite® is successfully marketed to the global supplement and functional food industry.

Zynamite® is backed by a large number of studies and is included in numerous research papers.
Zynamite® is as suitable for supplements as for food and beverage applications.
Pre-clinical studies demonstrated, that Zynamite® crosses the blood brain barrier, modulates neurotransmitter response and increases the long-term memory.
Its mechanism of action is mediated by the partial inhibition of COMT (Catecol-O Metil-Transferase), which is a key enzyme that degrades the dopamine, a neurotransmitter that modulates the cognitive function including working memory, planning and attention.
Our human studies demonstrate in addition a variety of benefits to the consumers. Main focus has been on non-stim mental energy and sports performance under physical stress conditions.
Under cognitive stress conditions, Zynamite® modulates the neurotransmitter response, enhancing attention during cognitive task performance, improving reaction time and reducing cognitive fatigue while keeping the heart-rate and blood pressure without change.
Under physical stress conditions Zynamite® formulations improve sports performance variables, acting as an ergogenic modulator. Zynamite® formulations furthermore improve brain oxygenation during physical activity, leading to improved cognitive function. It was also demonstrated that Zynamite® formulations reduce blood lactate levels.
And last but not least, Zynamite® formulations reduce pain perception and accelerate the recovery after strong physical exercise.
Zynamite® has already been incorporated in dietary supplement formats such as tablets, capsules, fizzy sticks and others.
Thanks to our application capabilities we have been able to demonstrate that Zynamite® is stable throughout stringent beverage production processes, with almost no impact on colour and organoleptics.
Several application trials are under way to assure that Zynamite® formulations can be used in all types of functional food formats, allowing our customers to propose the most suitable product formulation to their consumers.
